Provenance Ex-Christies Robson-Lowe 1993 lot 126 originally listed as part of a SIngapore lot with B-172 PM – 4th Printing Head Die III Frame Die II – Close spacing/setting 2mm-2.5mm apart [margins top 1.5mm, right 1.25mm, bottom 1mm, left 1.75mm] Watermark position 9 [Shifted south] – Cross hairs alignment SE corner in printed colour for sheet alignment illustrating cut/separation was made at least half way between – Fairly indistinct type 7 PM (JC & Martin – SG PM type C) Bengal postal sub-region possibly ‘B-172’ Singapore Strait Settlements as originally stated or B-7- last figure indistinct.
