Very rare unique example (read below), especially in such fine overall condition – 3rd Printing Head Die II (Not in worn state despite later third printing usage) Frame Die I (Characteristic brighter shade Jatia Stone J2 (INDIA'S BI-COLOURED FOUR-ANNAS 1854 - A Specialised Study of the Third Printing Jatia D.N. : pp108 : 2000 p.37) based on red flaws between outer two frame line at 1 & 7 clock, Red flaw underneath O of FOUR and red retouch below A in INDIA - Only positions 5-6 are plated on J2 stone one is a pair in royal collection aquired from Desai 1949 plus a single on position 5 possibly this is that example or a discovered second single example - No other Die II Head is recorded on the J stone group making this stamp very rare! – Wide spacing/setting watermark position 5 – Recent (2018) BPA certificate stating ‘pressed centre row fold’ a miniscule pedantic fault – No one knows why all wide spacing sheets are encountered with these centre row folds
