India 1929 Air Mail Stamps - A Study of Constant Varieties

Author Rohit Prasad - A research of 6 years painstakingly studying tens of thousands of stamps. While the current Stanley Gibbons catalogues only list 5 varieties (2 very recent 2020), this book documents 106 constant varieties in India’s first Air Mail stamps

The book is divided in two parts - Section I - Chapters on India’s First Air Mail Stamps, Understanding Varieties, and the Recorded Varieties. In addition, a bonus chapter on 1911 Air Mail flight. Section II - User Guide with prolific illustrates of 106 New Constant Varieties over 233 pages. To determine that a variety is constant, a minimum of three examples of each variety are highlighted.

The author has charted varieties in a grid format, starting from top left, then folowing a particular direction around each stamp, making it easier for collectors to locate each variety in the book for identification.
